Past event – 11am storytime with Leaf: “The Perfect Picnic by Ciara Flood – live on Facebook

Today’s story is “The Perfect Picnic” by Ciara Flood.

Squirrel and Mole are going on a picnic. Squirrel is determined that it will be the most perfect picnic ever but…he’s just a bit fussy about where to hold it.

This is a tale about a friendship between very different friends and a few lost sandwiches!

During Lockdown we are running our usual 11am Storytime Monday – Friday via Facebook live. Just go onto the Leaf Facebook page to watch. The videos are saved for the moment so you can watch later.

I hope you enjoy watching and listening. Carol x

Glasthomebury Festival 2020 – live on Facebook

Let’s have a festival at home whilst we’re all stuck in lockdown! This year, no one has to miss out and tickets are free!

Set up your tent at home, watch the Glasto Official 50th birthday celebration weekend on the BBC, raise money for those suffering because of lockdown and have fun! We will create a festival fan community online to lift our spirits during this tough time.

We will set up a Just Giving page and whilst we are having fun, we can raise money for those who have suffered the most due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

Find out more on the Facebook event page.
