Mondrian’s work had an enormous influence on XX century art, impacting not only the course of abstract painting and numerous major styles and art movements but also fields outside the domain of painting, such as design, architecture and fashion.

During the course of this workshop, you’ll get to know the concepts behind his simple geometry. It will broaden your abilities to transfer arts concepts and applying them to other fields of life that surround us daily.

This exciting workshop is dedicated to Piet Mondrian, a Dutch painter and theoretician who is regarded as one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. Together we’ll be exploring his artistic vocabulary reducing it to simple geometric elements and colours.

Kids are invited to join this fun and educational webinar about the famous artist Frida Kahlo.

Children will listen to an interesting lecture about the artist in focus, watch the demo on how the artist created her works and after will receive a live step-by-step instruction on how to paint like Frida and will create a work in the style of the famous artist.

This exciting short talk is dedicated to an art movement and group, which Peter Mondrian co-founded with Theo van Doesburg. De Stijl had a profound influence on the development of both abstract art, modern architecture and design. The aim of the talk is to explore the vocabulary of this iconic art movement. We’ll talk about the concepts that evolved in the non-representational form of art they termed Neoplasticism.
