Past event – Lace knitting workshop – live on Zoom

Monica Russel of The Knitknacks will be running an introduction to lace knitting. Knitting lace can be easy a simple pattern with any weight yarn can be really effective. Participants will need: a pair 4mm needles or 4.5mm needles, and Aran yarn or DK yarn. The cost of the workshop is £10.

This is an introductory class which lasts 90 mins which makes lace knitting easy. You do need to be able to knit, but you’ll be guided from there.

Monica Russel is a knitwear designer, experienced tutor and published author of several knitting books.

Learn the basics of Sock Knitting in a 3 hour workshop with Monica Russel. All the skills will be covered by knitting a simple baby sock.

Monica Russel, knitwear designer, experienced knitter, teacher and published author is offering short introductory fun knitting classes with donations to the Trussell Trust.

There will be time for a Q&A too.

Past event – Supertato – Free Online Hoglets Class – live on Zoom

Hoglets runs drama and storytelling classes for little ones (from birth to 7 years). Classes are jam packed with story performances, drama games, songs, noisy fun and craft. Currently running online classes – and they’re FREE!

Come on an adventure this week with Mama Hoglet and sneak out to save the world.

The session begins with a performance of the fantastic SUPERTATO.

Then we’ll go on a journey around the planet, righting wrongs and saving the world!

There’ll be drama games, imagination, songs and guided role-play and super good fun for little ones aged 0-7.

These sessions are FREE and open to everyone, no matter where in the world you are.

Session times are as follows:
Mon 1.30pm – Big Hoglets (walking+)
Tues 9.30am – Little Hoglets (birth-walking)
Tues 10.30am – Big Hoglets (walking+)
Weds 10.30am – Big Hoglets (walking+)
