Join Sion and Rosanna for this special online event, a chance to receive support and connection during this time.

Come together in a safe and supportive space with this warming and connecting afternoon hosted by two Liverpool-based yoga instructors. A relaxing and uplifting afternoon from the comfort of your home using Zoom where you can let go and immerse yourself in yoga and mindfulness practices. Feel in good company and make some well-deserved time for you. The afternoon will focus on deep relaxation, connection, lifting your spirits and finding calm.

Charity Pilates Class with Feelgood Fitness – live on Zoom

90 minute Pilates class to raise funds for the Square Food Foundation. They are supporting families who can’t afford to feed their children with meals each day.

In this class we will explore these 34 movements together, some you will recognise, others you might not. But it’s all in the name of fun and have a bit of a social at the same time!

Wind down at the end of the week with a deeply relaxing yoga practice. Working with a traditional approach to yoga using physical practice and the breath to find steadiness and ease, this calming class is designed to help the mind and body come into deep rest. All you need is a bit of space in your own flat for a yoga mat, your body and your breath.

£5 a class with 75% of proceeds going to AKT.

Bootcamp @ Home is a new class as part of our fabulous corona fitness experience. Expect HIIT and bodyweight exercises in a fun 45-minute routine. Sweat it out on Saturday mornings with other queers and friends right from your living room. Putting the social in social distancing.

Myofascial Release @ Home with Lunges in Leggings

Lunges in Leggings is an LGBTQ+ friendly fitness group that offers bootcamp, HIIT, Calisthenics, and Yoga classes. During the lockdown, they will be bringing you their classes online.

Wind down your week virtually through this self myofascial release class. You’ll be guided through a self-massage technique called trigger point therapy, rolling out specific points in the body using small massage balls (or cricket, lacrosse or tennis balls) as well as a foam roller to relieve aches, pain, and tightness caused by injuries, stiffness, posture, or just simply too much working from home. You’ll need a foam roller, 2 massage balls (can also be cricket, lacrosse, or tennis balls), and optionally a block or cushion to support your head.

Lunges in Leggings is an LGBTQ+ friendly fitness group that offers bootcamp, HIIT, Calisthenics, and Yoga classes. During the lockdown, they will be bringing you their classes online.

Based on the principles of dynamic Vinyasa, Power Yoga encompasses other elements of strength, cardio, and movement to heat the body, build strength, and get you moving. All you need is a bit of space in your own flat for a yoga mat. If you have tight hamstrings, bring a strap (or belt) and buy blocks.

Functional Yoga with Adena Muncey with Lunges in Leggings

Lunges in Leggings is an LGBTQ+ friendly fitness group that offers bootcamp, HIIT, Calisthenics, and Yoga classes. During the lockdown, they will be bringing you their classes online.

Come to this fabulous 45-min yoga sesh with Adena who currently lives in India. She has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching for over 18. She combines her background in exercise science, anatomy and Chinese medicine with a strong, powerful yet accessible flow. Expect a sweaty sequence with plenty of functional, mobility and core exercises to strengthen your body.

£5 a class.

This class combines strength training, mobility, and flexibility in a total body workout that help you stretch and flex your muscles better than simply hitting the gym. Exercises will include bodyweight strength training and mobility.
