The Mummy Writes downloadable 6-week course

Mummy Writes help new parents get creative and have a taster of what it’s like to be a fiction writer all while snuggling with their baby.

Their 6-week course is a chance for new parents to get creative and begin to write while snuggling with their baby from the comfort of their own home.

Designed for tired brains and multi-tasking parents, it will help you to be able to write around the chaos that having children brings and find your creativity.

Explore the basics of writing fiction – from descriptions to building characters – and start writing a story of your own.

Read examples of great fiction, and participate in a series of short writing exercises with prompts designed to get you putting pen to paper and creating the first draft of a short story.

Suitable for first-time writers or those looking to refresh their writing skills after a break.

The Lockdown Comedy Guide

Due to only being able to work on the events website in my spare time, I couldn’t possibly bring you all of the amazing comedy taking place during lockdown. This is why I highly recommend you take a look at The Lockdown Comedy Guide.

They provide listings for all the standup (and standup-adjacent) online events happening during the lockdown. These are live events only, no pre-recorded events. There are events happening every day so if you like comedy, check them out 🙂
