Past event – Roblox Coding: Summer Term – live on Zoom

We run robotics and coding classes, camps and clubs in the UK, for children aged 7 and above. Our goal at Code Kids is to make computer science hands-on, fun, relevant and educational.

This course is designed for late primary to secondary aged students who are looking to learn to code using a proper “grown-up” programming language. All of our courses must be booked in advance.

Learn to code using your favourite gaming platform and develop fun Roblox games. Our Lua based code editor is particularly suitable for this age group because it is really easy to use and can be built up to more text-heavy coding once you get comfortable with the basics.

This Summer Term Class is a great introduction to both fundamental programming concepts and the Lua programming language. Lua is widely used as a scripting language by game developers across the world.

By the end of the course, the students will be comfortable programming and creating Roblox games and will have published at least one game on to Roblox, which could end up helping them make lots of Robux!

You can find out more on the event page.

Date: Fridays until Friday 3rd July
(during half term break there will be no sessions: Monday 25th May to Sunday 31st May).
Times: 6:45pm to 7:45pm
